Definition of Construct: Locations of the food supply (e.g., food stores, restaurants) and ease of getting to those locations. Can be measured based on where you live and where you work.

Theoretical Foundation: We selected Caspi’s adaptation of Penchansky and Thomas’s 1981 model (Caspi 2012) as a starting point, though consider accessibility to also encompass presence and number (counts) of food outlets within a given area based on prior studies (e.g., Apparacio 2008; Talen and Anselin 1998).
