Brief Description: Abbreviated version of the COPE inventory developed in response to impatience experienced by those given the full COPE instrument. Items measure: self- distraction, denial, active coping, substance use, use of emotional support, use of instrumental support, behavioral disengagement, venting, positive framing, planning, humor, acceptance, religion, and self-blame. There are two items for each fo the scales above.
