The Accumulating Data to Optimally Predict obesity Treatment (ADOPT) Core Measures Project aims to advance adult obesity treatment in the face of well-documented individual variability in response to multiple treatment modalities. This workspace contains a core set of behavioral, biological, environmental, and psychosocial constructs and measures that are recommended to be consistently used in adult weight loss trials.

Smoking Cessation at Lung Examination (SCALE) Collaboration Special Collection

The Smoking Cessation at Lung Examination (SCALE) Collaboration is a National Cancer Institute (NCI) sponsored initiative to identify consensus measures for research on smoking cessation interventions in the setting of low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) lung cancer screening. A panel of 19 scientists, including funded investigators (6 projects funded by RFA-CA-15-011 and two related projects) and NCI staff, convened from 10/2016-12/2016 to reach consensus on the selection of measures in the domains of demographics and psychological characteristics, medical characteristics and outcomes, tobacco use behavior, implementation, and organizational characteristics.

ACRM Cancer Rehabilitation Research Outcomes Project 1

The primary aim of the ACRM Cancer Rehabilitation Research Outcomes Project is to crowd-source consensus about the best outcome measurement battery (potentially patient-reported measures and objective measures) that can be used to assess the efficacy of cancer rehabilitation interventions (Scope note: includes any cancer rehab intervention delivered by any member of the multi-disciplinary rehab team—e.g., physical or occupational therapy, speech therapy, physiatry, rehab/neuro psychology, exercise).

The primary aim of the Assessment of Cancer Patient Symptoms and Needs Project is to crowd-source consensus around the best “screener” measures (potentially patient-reported measures and objective measures) that can be given in oncology or survivorship care before, during, and after cancer treatment to assess impairments and symptoms and trigger referral to supportive care services, including cancer rehabilitation, psychosocial care, exercise interventions, and palliative care/symptom management
