Assessment of Cancer Patient Symptoms and Needs

Edit this workspace

The primary aim of the Assessment of Cancer Patient Symptoms and Needs Project is to crowd-source consensus around the best “screener” measures (potentially patient-reported measures and objective measures) that can be given in oncology or survivorship care before, during, and after cancer treatment to assess impairments and symptoms and trigger referral to supportive care services, including cancer rehabilitation, psychosocial care, exercise interventions, and palliative care/symptom management.

To participate in this project:

  1. Select ‘Measures’ along the left-hand side of the screen.  You will then be able to launch surveys to comment on the measures entered in GEM or add new measures and supporting documentation for those measures.
  2. Select ‘Survey’ along the left-hand side of the screen and complete the Participant Background Questionnaire.  The evaluations of each measure you completed in the measures tab are also listed here.
  3. Select ‘Discussion’ along the left-hand side of the screen and contribute to discussions about the format and delivery of the screener measures.
  4. Click ‘Subcribe’ on this page to join the project, get updates on progress, and contribute to ongoing discussions.
